Jay E. Justice

Jay E. Justice, 49, of Elkhart, passed away November 22, 2012 at his home. He was born June 1, 1963 in LaPorte to Joseph and Berndalyn (Barber) Justice and married Angela Hislope on August 6, 1994 in Goshen. She survives along with a son, Trevor and a daughter Sydney both at home; his parents, Joseph and Berndalyn Justice of LaPorte; a sister, Jacqueline Smith of LaPorte; a brother, Jeffrey (Nancy) Justice of New Carlisle; his in-laws, Noel and Joyce Hislope and sister-in-law, Jennifer Leedy both of Elkhart and nieces and nephews.

Jay graduated from New Prairie High School and worked at Bit Mat Products in South Bend. He enjoyed four-wheeling and working on engines. He loved to go target shooting with his family. He also had a CDL and Hazmat certification.

A memorial service for Jay will be held at 2 pm Monday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where family and friends may call an hour prior to the service. Rev. David Hudson will officiate.
