J.B. Hambrick

J.B. Hambrick, 88, of Elkhart formerly of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Elkhart.

He was born July 28, 1928 in Scottsboro, AL to John and Mary (Pace) Hambrick. He married Stella L. Clements on July 29,1946 in Scottsborro, AL and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2007.

Surviving is a daughter, Judy (Dale) Hoogenboom of Bristol; and two sons, Larry Hambrick of Elkhart, and Carl Jay (Wendy) Hambrick of Bessemer, AL; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Anna Ruth Hambrick and Nancy Brooks; and two grandchildren, Daniel Hambrick, and Vannessia Moyer.

J.B. retired from McDowell Enterprises as a metal plater. J.B. and his wife owned and operated Hambrick Upholstery for many years. J.B. loved woodworking in his free time.

Burial will take place Friday afternoon at Zion Cemetery in Bristol.
