Jean M. Anspach

Jean M. Anspach, 88, of Altoona, PA, died Friday morning August 14, 2009 at Presbyterian Village of Holidaysburg, PA.

She was born February 15, 1921 in Altoona to Roy Merle and Laura Maude (Miller) Lowers. She married L. Max Anspach on January 13, 1940 in Altoona. He died on October 17, 2001.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Joan Marie Drew of Norwich, CT, Maxine Adelsberger of Altoona, 1 son, Leonard (Sherrie) Anspach of Elkhart, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a brother Logan M. Lowers of Baltimore, MD.

Mrs. Anspach was a homemaker and a member of the Riggles Gap Bible Church, Altoona.

Friends may call from 3-6 pm Tuesday and 10 to 11 am Wednesday at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where services will be held at 11 am with Pastor William Ice officiating. Burial will follow at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
