Jerry Allan Hayes

Jerry Allan Hayes, 70, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

 Jerry was a lifelong resident of Elkhart born on April 17, 1954, to the late Jerry and Cleo Hayes. Preceded in death by sister, Sandy and brother, Dennis.

 Jerry loved his family and was the greatest girl dad ever. He is survived by his sister, Betty (Jim) Mann, daughters Nicky (Doug Jr) Graham and Jeni Hayes. Grandchildren Doug III and Morgan Graham and Connor Hayes. And his beloved (and spoiled) dog Griff. His grandchildren brought him so much joy and he loved picking on us all. We will all miss his antics and the nicknames and jokes he’d throw at us but most of all: Love you Loser. Most of you have heard it and it was definitely our love language.

 Jerry’s friends meant the world to him. From his baseball glory days of the younger years, through the work life of landscaping and the bar business to golf and pickle-ball and the Saturday meet ups with the boys. His life was full from the love shared amongst his friends who were also family.

 Dad (Jerry) will be deeply, wholeheartedly missed, but his memory will be kept alive by those who loved him. And we thank you for loving him, he loved you all as well. A celebration of his life will be held after the New Year. Details will be posted and shared at a later time. Until then… Love you Losers!
