Jim Ean

Jim Ean, 32, of Elkhart, passed away Friday July 22, 2022 in Mishawaka after a traffic accident. He was born Feb. 25, 1990 in Elkhart to Yom and Hong Ean. He graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School in 2009. He was a Service Technician for Jordan Toyota in Mishawaka.

Jim selflessly, altruistically and unconditionally loved his family and friends. He had an unmistakable and contagious laugh. He befriended anyone and everyone without judgement. He was a great son, an amazing brother, an awesome uncle, a magnificent friend and just an overall great human being. He loved riding his motorcycle and fishing any time of day. He will truly be missed by many.

Jim is survived by his parents, siblings Emily (Moeut) Pich of Elkhart, John Ean of Indianapolis, his nephew Jonathon Pich and niece Chenavy Pich, best friends, Dustin (Courtney) Kryder, Dale Ruttschaw, Kevin Olds and Mark Ketchum, his God-children, Cody Marie, Charlie Marie and Dustin Kryder, Jr and his longtime girlfriend, Tiara Rice. He is also survived by his dogs Jasper and Bo and his cat Bruno.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday July 30, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514.
