Joey Wise

Joey Wise, 86 of Elkhart, passed away Dec. 21, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Elkhart.

She was born Dec. 25, 1927 in Freeport, Michigan to Joseph and Rozzilla (Kelpfer) Buehler. She married Wayne E. Wise on July 5, 1959. He died on Dec. 8, 2012. Surviving are a daughter, Valerie (Tom) Thomas of Livingston, TX; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Mick of Palm Springs, FL; and a son-in-law, Joe Everett. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Everett and 3 sisters.

Joey worked for 27 years at Zib Zab Oil Company in Elkhart.

No visitation or services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home.
