John A. Deak

John Allan Deak, 56, of Elkhart, passed away on April 20, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born in Elkhart on February 16, 1962 to Steve and Cheryl (Mann) Deak.

John is survived by his son, Josh (Samantha) Deak, and 2 grandchildren, Lilian and Charles Deak, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are his father, Steve Deak, and 3 sisters: Chris (Mark) Hartman of Wakarusa, Brenda (Don) Miller of Wakarusa and Dawn (Ryan) Morehouse of Mishawaka. 9 Nieces and nephews are surviving.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Deak.

He graduated from Jimtown High School.

Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the 11 AM service on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Pastor David Murrell will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at Olive West Cemetery.
