John Gilbert Espinoza

John G. Espinoza, age 51, of Brandon, Florida passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020. He was born on January 27, 1969 in Elkhart to John and Sherry Espinoza.

John graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor degree he went on to pursue a career as a Certified Public Accountant, he passed the test on the first try, and most recently at NetSuite. The love of his life was his daughter Addison. John always lit up the room with his presence, so full of energy. He had so many friends and they all loved him. John was always helping anyone in need, and would always go the extra mile. When John was 18, he would to take his 90 year old great-grandmother to the hair salon in his convertible jeep and she would be holding on for dear life. John played the part in filling his mom’s bucket list. When his daughter was born, he became a great dad and had the energy to keep up with a 4 year old. Addison was his life. He lived life to the fullest, he was always kind and caring and helping someone in need.  He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his daughter Addison Shelton of Florida, his mother, Sherry (Mark) Willard of Elkhart, his father John (Dreama) Espinoza of Bristol; his siblings, Casey (Michelle) Espinoza of Florida, Nicholas (Heather) Espinoza of Goshen and Monica (Eric) Bumpus of Bristol;  his aunts and uncles, Dawn (Mike) Hoover of Elkhart, Rhonda Havlish of Elkhart, William “Bill” Melissa Erikson of Stafford, Virginia, Veronica (Donny) Gouker of Goshen, Joe Espinoza of Columbus, OH, Rudy Espinoza of Elkhart, Lupe Castaneda of Goshen and Johnny (September) Castaneda of Goshen and several cousins and many friends.

Friends may visit with family from 4-8 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020 Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 6th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where visitation will be held one hour before the services. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 300 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL 60606 in memory of John.
