John Arthur Faunce Sr.

John Arthur Faunce, Sr., 75, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at Riverside Village in Elkhart, IN. John was born on July 29, 1948 to John F. and Marthetta Faunce in Mishawaka, IN. John married Patricia Morrow on October 25, 1974 in South Bend, IN.

John is survived by his wife, Patricia of over 51 years; their children, Shannon Cabrera of Elkhart, IN, John Arthur Faunce, Jr. of South Bend, IN, Mathew Faunce of South Bend, IN , and Joshua (Heather Drake) Faunce of Elkhart, IN ; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchild; brother Michael Faunce of Cassopolis, MI., and brother-in-law Joseph Niswonger of Rocky Mount, NC; John was preceded in death by his parents John Faunce and Marthetta Witham, sisters Diana Crowder and Mary Jane Niswonger and grandson Alexander Faunce.

John honorably served his country in the United States Marines. He worked in the fiberglass industry for several years, as final finisher and management. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping and motorcycle jumping. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
