John Henry Krallman, Jr, age 89 of Elkhart passed away on October 27, 2021 at his home. John was born on January 17, 1932 to John Henry and Ethel Krallman in Elkhart.
John loved his country and honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was awarded a purple heart. He retired from Selmer Vincent Bach where he made valves for saxophones, trumpets and clarinets. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, mustang cars and wintering in Florida.
John is survived by his children Brenda (Brad) Stafford of White Pigeon, MI and Bruce Krallman of Ft. Myers Beach, FL and Seattle, WA; grandchildren Melissa Rankin, Aaron (Mariam) Holdread, and Alek (Kortnee) Krallman; great-grandchildren Rick Holdread and John Krallman, sisters Barbara Carner, Nancy Krallman-Wagner and Judy Krallman-Bolino. John was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael John Krallman, brothers Phillip Krallman, James Krallman and Donald Krallman.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Prairie Street Cemetery with military honors.
