Joseph L. Perry

Joseph L. Perry, 62, of Elkhart, died at 8:30 pm Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his home.

He was born Aug. 9, 1947 in Elkhart to Charles J. and Frances G. (Walters) Perry. Surviving are a brother, George (Sue) Perry of Elkhart; 2 sisters, Carol (Sonny) Long of Edwardsburg, MI and Pamela (Jerry) Perry of Elkhart and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Perry worked in maintenance for many years at Bristol Pipe Co. and worked for Heartland RV until his retirement. He was in the U.S. Army and served 3 tours in Viet Nam. He was a member of the Edwardsburg American Legion and liked to tinker with electronics. He enjoyed his cat “Speeder”.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
