Juana Botello Fernandez, 74 of Elkhart, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 22,2024 at Goshen Hospital. Juana was born on November 12, 1949 to Jose Matilde Fernandez and Maria DeJesus Miranda Fernandez in El Puerto de la Cruz, Guanajuanto Mexico. She married Rosalio Botello.
Juana is survived by her loving husband Rosalio; their 5 children, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her 9 siblings.
Juana loved taking care of her family from cooking wonderful meals to always supporting their choices and decisions. In her last few months her health started to fail, but Juana never complained. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family and she will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 where the rosary will be prayed at 6pm at Concord Event Center, 3719 South Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46517 Visitation will be from 12-1pm on Monday, October 28, 2024 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1108 South Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46516 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm. Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery in Elkhart, IN Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting Juana’s family.
