Judith G. Miller, 76 of Goshen, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 11, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on Jan. 21, 1938 in Hammond, IN. to John and Barbara (Polowazyk) Partner. She married Larry Miller on Nov. 25, 1961 in Lansing, IL. He survives along with a daughter, Crystal (Bart) BeMiller of Wakarusa, IN.; a son, Derek (Angie) Miller of Goshen; 8 grandchildren, Philip, Wesley, Alex, Morgan, Bailey, Jaiden, William and Ethan and a sister, Claudia (Ken) Walker of Sauk Village, IL. One daughter, Michele Quiram, 2 brothers, Bobby and Jack Partner and 2 sisters, Gloria Schmidt and Linda Tolf all preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Center and one hour prior to the funeral services which will be held at 11 am Monday at McCoy Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Laborde officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, IL. And attended North Western Bible College in Minneapolis, MN. She worked for Flavor Freeze and Hardees in Dunlap for many years. She was a member of McCoy Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was active in Bible Study Fellowship and Eagle Lake Sailing Club. She loved to cook, garden and do Bible study. After God and her family her greatest joy in life was teaching others especially children.
