Judith N. (Judy) Williams, 74 of Bristol, IN. died March 29, 2012 at 4:50 p.m. at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1937 in Palatka, FL. to Grover Kinard and Louise Cates Lahmer. She married Robert F. Williams in 1969 in FL. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2004.

Survivors include two sons; Larry (Robin) Lanier of Palm coast, FL., James E. (Jana) Williams of Elkhart
Indiana; four step-daughters, Cecilia (Jeff) Uhlik of Chugiak, AK.; Carol (George) Sadgebury of Starksville, MS; Georgia (Vern) Johnson of Flagler Beach, FL. and Mary Lou (Jim) Murrison of Port Orange, FL. and grandchildren, Nathan & Vincent Williams, 13 Step Grandchildren and 14 Step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Cindy Diane Lanier and a brother Daniel Lahmer.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bristol where the family will receive friends one half hour prior. Father Bob VanKempen will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.

Mrs. Williams was a Scheduler for the Nursing Department at Elkhart General Hospital for many years. She then worked at the blood bank department retiring from there. She also owned Judy’s Ceramics where her students became some of her most cherished friends. She enjoyed attending her grandkids activities. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was very active in their Altar Rosary Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Bristol Food Pantry.
