Kathryn A. Detwiler

Kathryn A. Detwiler, 88, of CR# 123, Bristol, passed away June 7, 2008 at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart.

She was born February 16, 1920 in Ohio to Seymore and Agnes (Holtsinger) Gibson and married Cliff A. Detwiler on June 15, 1940 in South Bend. He survives with 2 brothers, Paul Gibson of Elkhart and Don Gibson of Elkhart. 2 brothers, Herb and Buck Gibson preceded in death.

Mrs. Detwiler worked at Elkhart General Hospital as a secretary in the emergency room. She attended Zion Lutheran Church and was a talented musician and artist. She loved attended to her flowers.

Friends may call from 4-7 pm Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, where services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
