Kay Ann Graham, 72 of Elkhart, passed away with her daughters at her side on August 31, 2014 in her home after a year- long battle with cancer.
She was born June 10, 1942 in Coldwater, Mich. to Alton B. and Helen L. Maley. Surviving are 3 daughters, Kimberly A. Ottavi of Elkhart, Michele L. (Michael Wisniewski) Harris of Lake Worth, FL, Christine M. (Tim) Grauel of Granger, Kay’s former husband of 32 years, Tom Graham of Elkhart, 4 grandchildren; Zachary B. Ottavi, Alexis L. Ottavi, Mackenzie M. Cherry and Mia E. Grauel, a sister, Sally (Mike) O’Brien of Sacramento, CA and a special friend, Jack Spalding. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kay graduated from Goshen High School and attended Indiana University and was a homemaker and enjoyed wintering in The Villages, Florida.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, Sept. 4th from 10 am to 1 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. A ceremony celebrating Kay’s life will begin at 1 pm Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Center for Hospice Care. The family wishes to thank the Center for Hospice Care and Precious for their special care of Kay.
