Kevin John Shrider

Kevin John Shrider, age 52, of Bristol passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Kevin was born on April 16, 1969 in Sylvania, OH to David and Karen Shrider. He married the love of his life Patti Dietz on July 4, 1999 in Elkhart, IN.

Kevin and his wife own Midwest Installation Partners in Elkhart. He enjoyed fishing and driving his JEEP.  He loved to stay busy by chopping wood or doing home remodeling projects. Kevin lived life to the fullest and everyday was an adventure with him in it. He truly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs.

Kevin is survived by his wife Patti Shrider of Bristol, their daughters Nicole Cloud of Goshen, Brittany (Blake) Hill of Chicago, Aimee (Troy) Cox of Nappanee, Sarah (Will) Weed of Middlebury, Bridget (Cristian) Parra-Sanchez of Ocean Side, CA and Samantha Shrider of Elkhart; his grandsons Skylar Cloud, Everett Cox and one on the way; his sisters Bessie (Tim) Hostetter of Bristol and Susan Calhoun of Elkhart. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the funeral home, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the selfless staff in the Critical Care Center at Elkhart General Hospital. Every single nurse, doctor and staff member in between provided Kevin with the best and most attentive care possible and for that the family is forever grateful.
