Kristina L. Ball

Kristina L. Ball, 63 of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her home after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.

She was born May 15, 1951 in Elkhart to LeRoy Fred Edward and Winifred Arlene (Brady) Krauser. She married Robert M. “Bob” Ball on March 21, 1975 in Elkhart. He survives with a daughter, Rachelle (Tracey) Roberts and 2 sons, Robert M. and Michael M.E. Ball all of Elkhart; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Ball, Joshua Borkholder, Ali Borkholder and Rhyder Roberts; 2 sisters, Bonnie (Carl) Esch of Elkhart and Kathy (Keith) Hartman of Kissimee, FL; 2 brothers, Daniel (Betty) Burner of Howe and Mike Krauser and her mother, Winifred A. Krauser both of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Mason and her father.

Kris was founder and president of Décor and More for 2 years, was office manager for Heilig-Meyers for 4 years and worked in accounts payable at KIBBI for7 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation for Kris will be Tuesday, July 1st from 4-7 pm at the Northside Church of the Nazarene. The funeral will follow at 7 pm. Reverend Tim Sheets and Mike Onyon will officiate. Graveside services will be at 10 am Wednesday, July 2nd at Rice Cemetery.
