Kurt C. Miller

Kurt C. Miller, 60 of Elkhart, passed away Jan. 11, 2013 at Valley View Healthcare Center.

He was born July 31, 1952 in Plymouth to Robert and Della (Locker) Miller. He married Debra K. Smith on May 25, 1982. She survives along with 4 children, Angela Miller and Melinda Miller both of Florida, Jessica Miller and Joshua Miller both of Elkhart; 3 grandchildren, William Elijah, Jeffery Miller and Amber Miller and a brother Brent (Faith) Miller of LaPorte and a sister, Lisa (Brian) McKee of Plymouth. His parents preceded him in death.

Kurt graduated from New Prairie High School in 1970 and worked for Gunite Corp. for 15 years as a machinist and tow motor driver and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church. He was an avid reader and motorcyclist.

Visitation for Kurt will be an hour prior to the 3 pm service on Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Rev. Amy DeBeck of U.U.F.E. will officiate. Cremation will follow services.

Memorials may be given to Universal Unitarian Fellowship.
