Larry C. Derr

Larry C. Derr, 65 of Bristol, passed away, April 19, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Heart Center, Indianapolis.

He was born April 27, 1948 in Elkhart to Carl B. and Florine (Stults) Derr. He married Margaret A. Quarandillo on August 9, 1969 in Elkhart. She survives along with a son, Jayme (Kayme) Derr of Goshen, 2 grandchildren, Brayton and Ellie Derr and his beloved German shepherd, Sophie. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry graduated from Elkhart High School and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He owned LCD Custom Polishing Company in Bristol for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Bristol and enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley and noon lunches with his friends.

In accordance with Larry’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
