Larry E. Mann

Larry E. Mann, 77 of Union, Mich., passed away Wednesday Dec. 3, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Feb. 15, 1937 in Elkhart to Wesley and Lucille (Sanders) Mann. He married Karen L. Spencer on Sept. 11, 1965 in Denton, TX. She died on March 31, 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Leisa Mann and a son, Larry E. (Dana) Mann Jr. both of Union, MI; 3 grandchildren, Chanda, Caleb and Amanda; 2 brothers, Jim (Barb) Sanders of Florida and Wayne (Karin) Mann of Arizona and a nephew, Jim Sanders of Elkhart.

Larry was a wood-worker and retired owner of Countryside Furniture in Union. He enjoyed animals and farming and training quarter horses. He also trained Border Collies for competitive sheep-herding.

Services for Larry will be held at 1 pm Saturday, Dec. 6th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, where friends may call an hour prior to the service. Reverend Dennis Chaput will officiate. Burial will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery, Union.
