Larry Dean Shupert

Larry Dean Shupert, age 70, of Vandalia, MI passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Larry was born on April 24, 1951 in Elkhart to Dale and Ethel Shupert. On June 29, 1991 he married Patsy Hall.

Larry graduated from Concord High School class of 1969. He retired as operation manager for Coast Distribution. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time on his boat. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife Patsy Shupert; children Michael Hall of Osceola, Marla Dreibelbis of Mishawaka, Curtis (Rachel) Hall of Austin, TX, Lucreasie “Creasy” (Martin ) McKinzie of Elkhart; grandchildren Heather, Nicole “Nikki” & Justin, Lucas, Kayla, Josh & Nikki, Max, Julian, Noelle, Ryon and Erin; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Ron (Cheryl) Shupert, Fran Blankenship, Jeff (Eleanor) Shupert, Patty Shupert, Terry (Tammy) Shupert and Jim (Kathy) Shupert; sisters-in-law P.J. Shupert and Midge Shupert; half-sister Peggy (Ron) Severns. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Ethel Shupert, his brother John Shupert and his half-brother Dale Shupert.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart, IN 46514 where friends may visit with family from 2-3:30pm.
