Larry E. Troeger

Larry E. Troeger, 83, of Elkhart, passed away Friday Feb. 27, 2015 at Elkhart Rehabilitation Center.
Larry was born Jan. 6, 1932 in Elkhart to John and Hilda (Robbins) Troeger. On Sep.11, 1960 in Goshen he married Maurine Myers who survives along with a son Brian Troeger of Goshen and a daughter Brenda Sue (Chris ) Banks of Elkhart, 2 grandsons Tyler (Brittney) Leighton and Nicholas Leighton and a great-granddaughter Jordyn. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Wayne and Harold Troeger.

Larry graduated from Elkhart High School class of 1951 and served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 thru 1954. He was a salesman for Elpaco Coatings Co. from 1961 until retiring in 1997. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and Elkhart Conservation Club.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday March 2 and one hour prior to the 11 am service on Tuesday March 3 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
