Lawrence E. Kueppers

Lawrence E. Kueppers, 51, of Elkhart, passed away October 9, 2008 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born June 22, 1957 in Warsaw, IN to Kenneth R. and Marjorie E. (Moore) Kueppers and married Norma J. Adams on March 19, 1983 in Elkhart. She survives with 2 sons, Christopher and Joshua Kueppers and a daughter Kaela Kueppers all of Elkhart; 2 brothers, Tim (Robin) Kueppers of Kalamazoo, MI and Bob (Sherri) Kueppers of Byron Center, MI. His mother also survives in Kalamazoo, MI. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Ruth Kueppers.

Mr. Kueppers was a Biomed regulatory scientist for BioMet in Warsaw. He previously had worked for Bayer Corporation for 26 years. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central HS and earned a B.S. degree from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI in chemistry. He was a member of River Oaks Community Church and active in the F.B.I. service group in the church. He was a former cub scout and boy scout leader.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at River Oaks Community Church, 58020 CR# 115, Goshen, IN and a hour prior to the 1 pm service on Tuesday at the Church. Pastors Scott Tilley and Rob Staley will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the church.
