Leone E. Buhler

Leone E. Buhler, 91 of Elkhart, Indiana died May 21, 2009 @ 2:35 A.M. at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on August 3, 1917 to Merle F. and Mary (Silveous) Kimes. She married Joseph Buhler on June 24, 1939 in Elkhart, Indiana.

He survives along with a sister, Maxine (Bill) Smith of Elkhart, Indiana. She was preceded in death by four sisters; Helen Troup, Thelma Clayton, Susie Olinger and Virginia Fore and two brothers; Ralph and Jack Kimes.

Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Friday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday. Reverend James Pettit from First Baptist Church, Elkhart will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.

Mrs. Buhler retired from C.T.S. Corporation. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved to travel. Her nieces and nephews were very important to her. She was a very generous person willing to help anyone.
