Leonel LeRoy Schrock

Leonel LeRoy Schrock, 98, of Urbana, IN, Passed away Monday evening at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, IN.
He was born Dec. 8, 1913 in Elkhart to Lorenzo and Addison (Ousterhout) Schrock.
On Dec. 4, 1937 he married Helen Irene Cunningham who preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 2007.

Surviving are a daughter: Marcia (Rich) Hoffman of Urbana, IN, 2 sons: Brian Schrock of Bristol and Randy (Sue) Schrock of Goshen, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Joanne Douglas of Bristol.
He was preceded on death by a daughter Kay Balcom and a sister Dolores Lantz.

Leonel was a member of Kane Masonic Lodge, a life member of Elkhart Conservation Club and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He lived all his retirement years in Minnesota where he loved to hunt and fish.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart.
