Leslie E. Brumbaugh

Leslie E. Brumbaugh, 78, of Bristol, IN, passed away on January 15, 2017 in Brandon, FL. She was born on July 15, 1938 in Elkhart, IN to Russell and Madelon (Mowery) Stuck. She married Larry D. Brumbaugh on November 9, 1957 in Elkhart.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Larry, of Bristol; a son, Timothy A. (Doris) Brumbaugh, of Bristol, IN; 2 daughters: Kathryn Yoder of Angola, IN and Mrs. Patrick (Rebecca) McKenna of Goshen; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Karen Hornish of Goshen, IN.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Carole Fackelman, Doris Morgan and Esther Stuck; and 4 brothers: Dwayne, Clifford, Leon and Lowell Stuck.

She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1956. She retired from Miles Laboratories as a Graphic Artist, where she had been employed for 32 years. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, where she was a Choir member; she was a member of M.A.D.D. and the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing games, camping, crafts and her dogs.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday January 26, 2017 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11 A.M. Friday service at Augustana Lutheran Church. Pastor Steven Reshan will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
