Lexie Miller

Lexie Miller, 89, of Bristol, Indiana, died at 10 pm, February 21, 2010 at Goshen General Hospital.

She was born June 28, 1920 in Parmysville, Kentucky to Charlie and Cansada Foster and married Lewis Gregory on November 24, 1936. He died October 24, 1949. She then married Harold Miller on June 18, 1952. He died on June 28, 1996. Surviving are 5 sons, Joe (Velma) Gregory of Goshen, Bob (Norma) Gregory, Howard (Manerva) Miller, Paul (Gina) Miller, and Elmer (Deanna) Miller all of Bristol; 58 Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren; 1 sister, Dolly Thacker of Jackson, OH. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She had worked at several factory jobs and retired from Scamper Corporation in Bristol. She dearly loved her gardening and enjoyed going to the Bristol American Legion on Friday nights.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart. A private family memorial service will be held earlier. Cremation will follow visitation with burial at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol at a later date.
