Logan G. Carrick

Logan Gannon Carrick, 11 months of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Lutheran Children’s Hospital of Indiana, Ft. Wayne, after a courageous battle with Hirschsprung’s Disease.

He was born June 7, 2017 in Elkhart to Branden R. and Brittany N. (Kavanaugh) Carrick. He is survived by his parents and 2 brothers, Liam and Lincoln Carrick; Grandmothers, Mary Jo Kavanaugh of Peoria, AZ and Cindy Carrick of Elkhart; Great-Grandfather, Roman Lenz of Ellsworth, MN and Great-Grandmother, Mary Kavanaugh of Chrisman, IL. Logan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bernard M. Kavanaugh and Randall Carrick and his Great-Grandfather, Bernard A. Kavanaugh.

Logan attended the Guardian Angel Childcare Ministry. He had an infectious smile and loved playing with his brothers. He also loved snuggling, bouncing in his jumperoo and saying “Da-Da”.

Family and friends may visit from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, May 17th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Pastor Shirley Fox will officiate. Burial will follow in the Babyland section at Rice Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Lutheran Children’s Hospital, Fort Wayne.
