Lucille (Rose) Signs

Lucille L. (Rose) Signs, 81 of 27833 County Road 24 Elkhart died January 12, 2008 at Hubbard Hill Estates. She was born on February 24, 1926 in Rock City, Montana to George F. and Henrietta (Rudolph) Rose. She married Fred W. Signs on July 3, 1947 in Elizabeth, Kentucky. He died July 6, 2001.

Surviving are two sons; Stanley D. (Barbara) Signs of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Danny N. (Toni) Signs of Santa Maria, California, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday. Reverend David Cross of Hillcrest United Methodist Church will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Mrs. Signs retired as an assembly operator after 27 years with C.T.S. Corporation, Elkhart. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 395 Ladies Auxiliary, the Quarter Century Club with C.T.S. and the Women of the Moose # 599. Memorial contributions may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
