Marie E. Schuster

Marie E. Schuster, 95, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday Dec. 26, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation, Elkhart.
She was born Feb. 26, 1917 in Elkhart to William and Martha (Holcomb) Bruckert.
On July 13, 1940 in Elkhart, she married William D. Schuster who preceded her in death on May 16, 1995.
Surviving are a daughter Mary Krause of Elkhart, a son William J. Schuster of Ensenada, Mexico, 2 grandchildren: Pilar Citali Schuster and Daniel William Schuster.
She was preceded in death by a brother Howard Bruckert.

Marie graduated from Elkhart High School and worked at Boris Smoler Dress Factory before WWII. During the war she worked at C. G. Conn Co. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, watching mysteries on TV and being outdoors.

Marie will be buried in Rice Cemetery next to her husband. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Second Chance Small Dog Rescue. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart is entrusted with arrangements.
