Marilyn H. Tavernier

Marilyn H. Tavernier, 93 of Union, Mich., passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Jan. 26, 1925 in Elkhart to Frank O. and Iva (Klinger) Myers. Preceding her in death was her husband Lester A. Tavernier, 2 sisters, Esther Turnock and Dorothy McDonald and 2 brothers, Frank Myers Jr. and Richard Myers. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra (Floyd) Chesser of Kingman, AZ and Vickie (Chet) Balcom of Union, MI; a son, Greg (Diane) Tavernier of Naples, FL; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Marilyn retired as an assembler from C.T.S. Corporation after 25 years and enjoyed walking and reading.

The family will be holding private services at a later date. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart is entrusted with arrangements.
