Marjorie A. Ball

Marjorie A. Ball, 78, of Elkhart, passed away January 15, 2008.

She was born to Melvin and Ethel (Heffner) Parcell and married James R. Ball. He preceded in death. Surviving are a son, Tim Ball of Bristol, a daughter, Tamra (Joseph) Ball Orr of Portland, OR, and 7 grandchildren. A brother, Donald Parcell and 2 sisters, Blanche Kern and Neva Longbrake preceded in death.

Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and member of Augustana Lutheran Church. She was in various bridge groups and was a member of the Athenian Club and the Red Hat Club.

Visitation is from 4-8 pm Thursday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 11 am Friday at Augustana Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials may be given to Leukemia Society or the church.
