Marla J. Creal

Marla J. Creal, 72, of 27625 Maple Valley Drive, Elkhart, died at 7:14 am, December 5, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

She was born October 13, 1937 in Elkhart to Donald and Virginia (Grush) Pendill and married Patrick J. Creal on February 20, 1976 in Elkhart. He died July 19, 2002. Surviving are 3 sons, Ronald (Debbie) Eby of San Antonio, TX, Randall (Renee) Eby of Mishawaka, IN, and Roger Eby of Elkhart; 1 step-daughter, Renee Creal of Ann Arbor, MI; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Lucinda Evans of Elkhart. A step-daughter, Denise Riggles, preceded in death.

Mrs. Creal graduated from New Paris High School and was a homemaker. She also had worked at the Selmer Company for 15 years as a foreman. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Elkhart and was an avid bowler for many years.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart where funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
