Marvin Jay Dolph, age 82, of Union, MI. Marvin went to be with Jesus on December 21, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Marvin was born on New Year’s Day in 1938 to Robert and Retha Dolph. He married Valerie Hawkins on October 7, 1961 at Northside Baptist Church in Elkhart.
Marvin graduated from Elkhart High School class of 1957. He worked at Regal Mold & Die and Luttman Procession Mold in Sturgis as an injection mold maker. He formerly attended Northside Baptist Church and 1st Baptist Church in Elkhart. He enjoyed boating on Baldwin Lake and watching sports. He truly loved his family and his dogs.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 59 years, Valerie and their daughter Stacy (Dan) Thompson of Elkhart and his fur babies. Marvin is preceded in death by his brothers, Tom Dolph, Lester Dolph, Virgil Dolph, Dick Dolph, Robert “Leo” Dolph and two baby siblings.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the Dolph family. Memorial donations may be made to Rev.
