Mary E. Horner

Mary E. Horner,82 of Elkhart, IN. died August 19, 2010 at 6:50 P.M. at the home of her daughter, Shelli Cundy in Waukesha, WI.
She was born on January 16, 1928 in Florence, AL. to Ralph and Ora (Keenum) Elliott. She married Joseph F. Horner on February 2, 1957. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2001.

Survivors include twin daughters; Shelli (Richard) Cundy of Milwaukee, WI. And Kelli (Brian) Strock of Elkhart, two sons; Thomas (Helen) Horner of Elkhart and Jeffrey (Faith) Horner of Mishawaka; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing where services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday with the Reverend Spencer Mielke of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Mrs. Horner retired from Taylor Products after 34 years as an oventender. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and yard work and the company of her grand and great grandchildren. Any donations to the Elkhart County Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by Mary.
