Mary M. VanderWey

Mary M. VanderWey, 99 of Elkhart, Indiana died June 23, 2009 at 7:00 A.M. at the home of her daughter, Idella Campbell. She was born on November 9, 1909 in Baugo Township to Arthur and Adella (Be Miller) Paulus. She married Harold VanderWey on October 19, 1934 in Goshen, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1991.

Survivors include her daughter, Idella Campbell of Elkhart; one grandson; five great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Albert Paulus and Victor Paulus and 2 sisters Margaret Hoover and Gladys Tharp.

Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart with the Reverend Larry Kurtz from Faith United Methodist Church officiating. . Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery, Wakarusa.

Mrs. VanderWey was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Goshen.
