Mary Jeanette Weaver

Mary Jeanette Weaver, 57, died July 1, 2010 at 8:10 pm at the home of her daughter. She was born March 21, 1953 in Elkhart to Charles B. and Mary Jane Katherine Whitmer, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Joy Weaver of Elkhart; grandchildren Alyssa Ashcraft, Zavier Weaver, Cane Haitsma, and Madison Robinson of Elkhart; great-grandchild Krista Taylor of Elkhart; her mother Barbara M. (Pops) McMannis of Elkhart; brothers Roger (Linda) Whitmer, Elkhart, George Hanson, Edwardsburg, Edward E. Hanson, Elkhart and Michael E. Hanson, Elkhart; sisters Peggy Bloss, Barbara A. Hagy, Deborah K. Montagano and Elizabeth A. Vance, all of Elkhart, and Mary Ellen Padgett of Georgia. She was preceded in death by a son Andrew B. Weaver, a daughter Melody Weaver, and 3 sisters Gloria Nast, Penny Dudack and Sue Evans.

She was a manager at Subway for 7 years and loved to bowl.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Rev. Dale Turner will officiate. Burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
