Michael Jay Dayton

Michael Jay Dayton, 32, of Sturgis, MI passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Michael was born on March 15, 1992 to Jason Levesque and Michelle Dayton in Niles, MI. Michael married Alexandria Snyder on August 27, 2016 in Howe, IN.

Michael is survived by his wife Alexandria; their children Kaiden, Leo and Lillyah; mother Michelle Dayton of Rushville, IN., father Jason Levesque of Jackson, MI; siblings, Tiffany Simpson of Rolla, MO., Christopher Levesque of Jackson, MI and Sierra Levesque of Manton, MI., mother-in-law Jody (William “Billy”) Morgan Brown of Howe, IN ; grandparents Michael (Joyce) Dayton of Coldwater, MI., Pauline Magner of Three Rivers, MI., Albeo & Celest Levesque of Mesick, MI and Mildren Morgan of Swanton, OH.

Michael graduated from Franklin High School in Coldwater, MI class of 2013 . He was a hard worker and had very high skill traits, especially in painting. He enjoyed tinkering on different projects, some he completed and several he has left undone. He owned his own power washing company. He enjoyed being outdoors riding on his motorcycle or spending time kayaking in the water. He also liked playing video games, most of all he loved to spend time with his family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2024 where funeral services will be at 6pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514.
