Michael Wayne Estes

Michael Wayne Estes, 71 of Osceola, IN passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Center for Hospice Care, Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN. Mike was born on March 13, 1953 to Jack and Mary Estes in Moline, IL. He married Pam Adkins on September 22, 2012 at Elkhart Life Church in Elkhart, IN; they were together for over 27 years.

Mike worked for Federal Paper Board as a machine operator, for the State of Indiana as a truck driver and he retired from AACOA. Mike enjoyed working in his yard, especially while drinking an ice-cold Coors light. He liked to watch football, most importantly whoever is playing against Michigan. He truly loved to spend time with his family just grilling or hanging out. Ikey as he was affectionately known to many will be sadly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife, Pam; children Shane Estes of Goshen, IN., Erik Estes of Elkhart, IN., Kandis (Jimmy) Terry of Osceola, IN and John (Jessica) Bailey of Michigan; grandchildren, Asia (Brandon) Short, Tessa Laughman of Syracuse, Kaytrina Bailey, Lexi Laughman, Alivia Bailey, Jeffrey Laughman; great-grandchildren Luca, Dallas and one on the way; his sisters, Renee Miller of Illinois and Shelia (Steve) Lacy of Oklahoma. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Jack Estes and Mary Lowther, siblings James, Jack Estes and Donna Estes and his grandson Dylan Bailey.
