Nadine N. Anderson

Nadine N. Anderson, 80 of Elkhart, passed away Saturday September 28, 2013 at Jellystone Park, Pierceton, IN.

She was born March 25, 1933 in Goshen to Roy L. and Eva P. (Plank) Phillips. She married Rodney “Dutch” Anderson on August 14, 1954 in Elkhart. He died May 21, 2009. Surviving are 2 sons, Mitchell K. (Susan) Anderson and Michael J. Anderson Sr. both of Elkhart; grandsons, Michael J. Anderson Jr., Jayson R. Anderson and Benjamin R.C. Anderson and a granddaughter, Catelyn J.M. Anderson all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, LeVon R. and Eugene C. Phillips and a sister, Dottie F. Phillips.

Nadine graduated from St. James Beauty College and was a beautician for 40 years and retired as owner-operator of Anderson’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of the Delta Theta Chi Sorority.

Visitation for Nadine will be Wednesday, Oct. 2nd from 11 am to 1 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral & Cremation Center, Elkhart. A procession will leave at 1 pm for a graveside service at Rice Cemetery.
