Neal G. Kinder, Jr.

Neal G. Kinder, Jr., age 63, of Elkhart, passed away Friday August 19, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born December 16, 1958 in South Bend, IN to Neal G. Sr., and H. Marie Kinder of Elkhart.

In his youth he played football for Mira Costa College. He was a retired National Sales Manager for American Hauler. He enjoyed watching sports especially the New York Yankees, Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears. His favorite time was spent with his family and friends and most importantly his grandchildren. He was a loving, son, brother, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed.

Neal is survived by his children, Sarah Kinder of Mishawaka, IN, Zach (Rachel) Kinder of Minnesota, Rachel Kinder of Mishawaka and Reba Kinder of Elkhart; his mother, H. Marie Kinder of Elkhart; grandchildren Ellie, Emmett, Hudson, Lydia, Vera, Aidan and Gavin; brother Jeffrey K. Kinder of Elkhart. Neal Jr. was preceded in death by his father Neal G. Sr. and his brother from another mother, Jessie Cockerham.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. Funeral services will be at 11am on Wednesday at the funeral with visitation one hour before services. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
