Opal Marie Keys

Opal Marie Keys, 82 of Niles, MI formerly of Elkhart, IN., passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Westwood of Niles. Opal was born on July 21, 1942 to William K. and Cassie Mae (Wheeler) Williams, in Waverly, Ohio.

Opal was a long-time resident of Elkhart, IN., Opal was employed at Bayer Corporation for over 25 years. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Opal is survived by her daughters, Pam (Randy) Nelson and Robin (Jose) Keys Jimenez, four Grandchildren, Daniel (Emily) Nelson, Eleny (Kyle) Burton, Justina (Edwin) Jimenez, and Bradly Keys, three Great-

Grandchildren, brothers Earl (Debra) Williams and Harold (Sue) Williams. Opal was preceded in death by her parents William Kelly Williams and Cassie Williams, her brothers, James, Wayne, Haskel, Mason, Roy, Troy, Ray, Frank, Doug, Dallas, and her sisters, Sarah and June.

Graveside services will be at Bailey's Chapel in Wakefield, Ohio, where Opal will be laid to rest next to her parents at 2pm on Friday, November 1, 2024. Memorial donations for Opal may be given to Gentivah Hospice at https://www.gentivahs.com/about/donate/
