Orchid J. McCammon, 12 of Union, Michigan died May 29, 2010 @ 11:30 A.M. at home. She was born October 2, 1997 in South Bend to Justin M. McCammon and Tabitha R. White. Surviving are her father, Justin M. and his fiancée Brandy Wyman, her mother, Tabitha R. White and her fiancée Benjamin Anglemyer, brothers Taidyn and Devin Anglemyer and Malykhi and Michael Wyman all of Union, grandparents, Michael & Susan McGammon of Union, Roger White of Elkhart, Christine (Danny) Yarnell and Tom (Marcia) Anglemyer both of Union, great grandparents Evelyn Dodge of Elkhart and Harold Hershberger of Middlebury. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday and one hour prior to the 11 A.M. funeral service on Wednesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Orchid was a student at White Pigeon Middle School. She loved animals, nature, science and video games as well as being an artist and musician. She volunteered at the Humane Society of Elkhart County and attended the Sheff Center for Horses in Kalamazoo.
