Patricia Ann Harris

Patricia Ann Harris, 86, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on October 25,1936 in Kokomo, IN to Melvin and Mary Kirts. She married Donald B. Harris on November 27, 1954 in Angola, IN, he preceded her in death on August 26, 2012.

Patricia graduated from Concord High School. She worked at Domore Furniture in Elkhart and EarthWay Products in Bristol. She was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed cooking and boating up and down the St. Joseph River. She especially loved to spend time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her son, Chris (Cathy) Harris of Edwardsburg, MI., Mitch Harris of Elkhart and Mark (Sherri) Harris of Elkhart, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and her brother Danny (Nancy) Kirts of Bristol. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Mary Kirts, her husband Don, their son Mike Harris, grandson Mark Harris, and her brothers Herb, Tom, Jerry and infant brother Jimmy Kirts.

All services for Patricia will be private, she will be laid to rest at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Elkhart, IN. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the Harris family.
