Patricia L. Hawkins

Patricia L. Hawkins, 70 of Edwardsburg, passed away Sunday Oct. 5, 2014 in her home. She was born December 27, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles and Bertha (Davis) Wilder. She married Charles R. Hawkins of Dec. 19, 1961 in Elkhart. He survives with 2 daughters, Katherine (Scott) Hoeppner of Sarasota, FL and Kimberly (Randy) Berkel of Elkhart; a son, Charles Allen Hawkins of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren and a sister, Anita (Silas) Blanton of Berea, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents and a half brother, Kenneth Childress.

Patricia graduated from Elkhart High School in 1962 and was a homemaker. She loved being a mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 8th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart and an hour prior to services at 11 am Thursday, Oct. 9th. Reverend Ted Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
