Patricia L. (Kidder) Warfel

Patricia L. Warfel, age 83, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Hubbard Hill Estates, Elkhart. Pat was born September 15, 1937 in Elkhart to Lee E. and Helen F. Kidder. On June 15, 1958 in Elkhart she married Gene Warfel who preceded her in death on April 13, 2012.

Pat graduated from Elkhart High School, Class of 1955 and worked for Whitehall Laboratories retiring after 32 years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star #188 Starlight Chapter, Elkhart Evening Optimist Club, Noon Optimist Club and the Elkhart Jayshees. She also enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are her 2 sons, Charles (Penny) Warfel of Grand Rapids, MI and Thomas Warfel of Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandsons, David and Christopher Warfel; 2 brothers, Richard Kidder of Elkhart and David (Carmen) Kidder of Manchester, TN; 2 sisters, Roberta Prugh and Elizabeth Jones of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Carol DeHays and brother Donald Kidder.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 11am at Friday, February 19, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor John Hogsett officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorials for Pat may be given to Concord High School Athletic Department.
