Paula N. Hutchison

Paula N. Hutchison, 67 of Elkhart, IN passed away on September 28, 2023 at the Ernestine M. Raclin Hospice House in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on August 6, 1956 in Portland, IN to Paul Leslie and Nyla Marceil Wilkinson.

Paula was a team mom, always cheering for her sons’ playing sports in their youth. She enjoyed nature from watching deer in her back yard, to spending time at Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart and traveling and going to Lake Michigan. She enjoyed going to musicals, plays and simply listening to music. She was a member of River Oaks Church and was a member of the Optimist Club in Elkhart for over 17 years. She loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Paula is survived by her sons, William (Suzanne Miller) Hutchison of Parker, Co., and Christopher (Sarah) Knott of Colorado Springs, CO., companion Don Lucterhand of Elkhart, IN; her grandchildren Samantha Knott, Emerson Knott, Alexa Jo Knott and Karington Knott; her niece and nephews, Sarah (Ben) Harless, Perry Morningstar and Jonathan (Hunter) Wilkinson; her brother Les (Marla) Wilkinson of Cave Creek, AZ. Paula was preceded in death by her parents Paul Wilkinson and Nyla Wiehe and her brother Gregory Lynn Wilkinson.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm Monday October 16, 2023 at River Oaks Church, 58020 CR 115, Goshen, IN 46528 where a memorial service will be held at 5 pm.  Pastor Drew Richey will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Little Pine Cemetery in Elkhart, IN.
