Phill M. Cohee

Phill M. Cohee, 66 of Elkhart, IN. died January 17, 2011 @ 12:38 P.M. at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on October 17, 1944 in Plymouth, IN. to Ralph and Willa (Brechtel) Cohee.

Survivors include his Lifetime Partner Judy McMeekan of Elkhart, two daughters, Kelly (Paul) Morris and Kari (Paul) Getchel both of Murrieta, CA.; one son, Tommy (Tracy) Cohee of Granger, IN., one stepson, Raymond L. Williams of Elkhart, one Step Daughter, Rhonda Flanagan of Edwardsburg, MI., three sisters, Janet (Gary) Hall of Lakeville, IN., Glenice (Jim) Bolze and Carolyn (Randy) Verkler both of Walkerton, IN., and one brother, Gary (Sherry) Cohee of Beaumont, Texas. Phill has been blessed with many wonderful Grandchildren and one great Granddaughter.

Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Friday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing with a 7 P.M. Memorial Service following the visitation. Pastor Randy Nemitz of Christ’s Church of Michiana will officiate.

Mr. Cohee worked as a Controller for 17 years in various divisions for LaSalle Dietch. Before retiring, Phill and Judy owned and operated J.P.C. Mat Company. He was a member of Bent Oak Golf Course and the Worthington Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. His lifelong hobby was golf. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
