Ralph C. Hausman

Ralph C. “Skip” Hausman, 77, of Elkhart, died at 12 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, IN.

He was born September 26, 1931 in Elkhart to John and Evelyn M. (Pettit) Hausman. Surviving are 2 sons, John (Lorri) Hausman of Fithian, IL and Edward (Lorraine) Hausman of Maui, HI; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hausman retired after a disability from C.T.S. Corporation in Elkhart and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to the 1:00 pm funeral service on Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart. Reverend Larry W. Kurtz of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery with military graveside honors rendered by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the D.A.V. #19, Elkhart.
